Using New Technology
Our educational program aims to encourage students to develop their critical and creative thinking. To do so, we incorporate the latest technologies in all the aspects of our curriculum with the aim of giving our students a new means of finding, analyzing, and posting information, while simultaneously understanding the role that technology plays in our increasingly globalized world. The use and understanding of new technologies constitutes a transversal model for students who are exposed to different technologies through the content of courses as tools to reinforce learning.
At EFI students develop competencies as they research information. Technological tools give students immediate access to an abundance of information that we teach them to filter. Students then use critical thought to extract quality information. We encourage students to use technological tools to create and present the content of their research. Students develop the necessary competencies to communicate in tomorrow's world totally based on technology.
Students have access to a digital network through which they can share files and collaborate on various projects, highlighting concepts of teamwork and cooperation. Teachers also use this network to share information with students and as a support to course material.
